‘Amicus Civitas’ stands for “friends of the community" or “friends of the city“
It’s used to describe groups of people who are motivated to work towards connecting and improving their community.
This name represents our purpose as we hope to do just that! We aim for everyone to be a part of a community that feels like one big friend group, where we can all grow and live the student life together.
Our Purpose
Create a close-knit community of international students by elevating your university experience to the highest degree. That means focusing on creating events and activities that will help you make unforgettable memories and meet wonderful people. But, especially, help you help each other, ultimately creating a safe space for you to fall back on!
Our Main Goals
Improve your wellbeing by creating a close-knit community where people feel comfortable and safe. Extend that community into a network that will stay long after our graduation as a wholesome alumni network. Spread positive content online, become a content creator in the city of Groningen.
